the child

spring cleaning today, found some old papers inside the piano stool

school reports from my secondary school and sixth form

(which i will share later, for everyone's amusement)

also this note to my parents from the consultant neurosurgeon who was reviewing my progress after months in hospital aged 3-4

love this line: 'i am sure that it would be perfectly alright for your son to lead a normal life now'

(don't know how normal my life has been: feels pretty exceptional, so far)
