today Ali, Emma, Z and his girlfriend Phoebe came to visit us for lunch

(yes, it IS strange z was only coming to visit: he doesnt like our internet speed)

a mile(ish) from our new home, they got T-boned crossing a crossroads with bad visibility (a crossroad on a corner)

by some crackheads who clearly didnt slow for the junction, whilst delivering pizza

police, fire and ambulance in attendance

THANK GODS nobody was more seriously injured: bruises, whiplash and seatbelt burns

unfortunately, it seems 'there aint no justice just us'

its a shame i hadn't been able to get there a few moments sooner, to help explain to the crackerjack / driver, who was aggressively swearing at 88yr old Ali, that she couldn't hear him because he'd hit their car with such force, her hearing aid had been knocked out.

i would like him to have shouted at me, but perhaps he only likes shouting at elderly ladies?

Ali wasnt driving actually: she was the one stuck in the passenger seat that z was trying to prise the door open of.

but the driver of the other car still insisted to the police that Ali and Emma had swopped seats and that Ali was driving.

id have arrested him on the grounds that he was high just for that verbalised fantasy.

understandably from the direction they were both travelling, he hit our family on their passenger side front but confusing how he managed to hit our family with the OFF side front of his car?!

going back to look at the road tonight, there are scrapes on the nearside kerb on the bend before the crossroads.

i reckon he clipped it and lost control before hitting Ali, Emma, z and Phoebe

not that i can prove it

a dramatic afternoon, written off car/s but again, just so relieved everyone is ok
