long day of moving stuff about

picked up van from the bubble

filled it full of my archive: negs/prints/tearsheets etc, 2 large chandeliers, Mary and Jesus, z and snoop

drove to ma and pa's , which started out ok but ended in disastrous detour off motorway and down pot-holed, bendy, bumpy roads

narrowly avoided a parking ticket on ashdown forest

didnt avoid a speeding ticket leaving ashdown forest

the speeding ticket particularly painful as we'd spent most of the journey doing 25mph going super carefully so as not to damage Mary and Jesus

I was doing 55 in what I thought was a 60mph limit...it was a 40 mph limit

had a hot sweaty time unloading van and reloading my childhood bedroom with the archive

guess my parents didnt expect to see me moving home at 53?!

had to disassemble metal shelves and reassemble in the room because we couldn't make the stairs

sometime I'll have to do all this in reverse

z says he'll be busy that day

with snoop on the bench seat thinking he was one of the lads

reloaded the van with plants in pots and drove to our future rental

met the farmer and he son who used to live in the farmhouse

RT faversham and then to the bubble to return van and collect perou-mobile
