after a romantic sandwich-on-a-bench outside tower bridge Sainsbury's local for me and Lucy

met shaun and maggie for 'guys and dolls' at bridge theatre

here's me and shaun in front of the poster for the show, we did together

show was GREAT

an immersive experience. wish i could have photographed all the audience enraptured looking up at the performers and singing along

(including Lucy who already knew ALL The words)

i had NO comprehension of guys and dolls before this commission: it had completely passed me by

didnt stop for dinner at boring looking 'pont de la tour'

but had a quick drink together apres show, next door

head spinning with ideas about studios and buildings and full of wonderfully performed show tunes

back home and late, took a call from anxious mother freaking out because i'd offered to clean the moss off their roof and she was convinced I could fall off despite my recent acquisition of a safety harness and climbing rope

if my parents hadn't brought me up with a 'CAN DO' attitude and hadn't drummed into my physche 'you can do anything you want to you, all you have to do is try'

i wouldn't have been able to accomplish much of what i have done in life.

and i certainly wouldn't have been able to turn all the semi-derelict shit-bins we've lived in, into wonderful places to live

cleaning a roof of moss is well within my reach...but i have promised not to do this
