eventually

missed the first train i was planning on taking because i had make Lucy turn around so i could get my forgotten camera

missed the second train i was planning on taking because i arrived at train as the train doors shut before take-off

'too late; the train has gone' said the conductor

'no it hasn't: it's still here' i said '...can you open the doors?'

'no it's gone', said the conductor with too much enjoyment showing on his face.

i waited, looking at the train for a good minute before it actually left

and waited another half an hour for the next train

late for lunch with my brother-from-another-mother, Jem

after lunch we went to see 'vogue: inventing the runway' at Lightroom, which shows wrap-around immersive films

which was really good

but the streets are our catwalk

fell off the wagon quite hard, tripping over a strawberry and lime, picante, tequila and mezcal cocktail at the great northern hotel bar

before a wobbly train home
