lino time

when i was a kid, my parents had this bit of lino, that lived most of the time under the living room carpet and occasionally got pulled out so i could play on it, with toy cars and such

pre the internet or video games :)

love the late 60's early 70's (?) design.

ive had it rolled up for many many years: my sons weren't interested in playing on it

now it might finally be 'going to a charity shoppe'

but I am amused by this photo: particularly in the four things found to hand to hold each corner.

a bumper box of whiskas cat food, a bottle of vodka (not mine: maximum's actually), a cherry wood log and a portable speaker (not mine: z's actually)

today i picked up and played my saxophone for the first time since covid lockdown
