went with Lucy to her mum's and then on to the woods to find the deer, wielding a better camera

i found them but they found me first and scarpered off and stayed scarpered: i couldn't find them again

i'm actually glad they're so human-adverse

squirrels on the other hand are real easy to photograph and quite unaware of you being there

charming rats with fluffy tails and big eyes, but not too interesting to photograph

startford woulda had a GREAT time in these woods...
