fender bender

after a wet visit to the Fairfax flea market

had a little RTA with a 2021 Cadillac escalade (a newer version of the perou-mobile)

nobody hurt, fortunately

two big trucks going at low speed

i was parking in the rain

the other fella drove into my rear

and blamed me for crossing a lane to park.

i didn't sideswipe him: i was in front of him and indicating.

not sure why his imminent collision system didnt kick in?

or why he presented a year out-of-date insurance details?

but i am grateful no-one is injured

despite this i feel sick, shaky and unusually dour

listening to Harold Budd's 'the messenger' is helping me calm down (as always)

a return to normal service should resume tomorrow
