i struggled to stay awake, which had nothing to do with Joey or Rob Smith's interview which was great
i'm just cream-crackered form the last couple of days graft
picked up 2 chicken Kiev for £10, some standard olive oil for £8 and a packet of 6 razor blades for £26
i'm sure everyone who can remember prices from years ago are gobsmacked by each new moment's newly inflated prices:
'i can't believe how much things are' has to be a recurring trope for older adults
BUT
i'm thinking about prices in the recent past and going WTF?
needless to say, photographer's fees have only been going DOWN over the last twenty years and can be charted on a graph going in directly inverse direction to inflation
when costs need to be cut, luxury items like professional photographers get cancelled or replaced with someone from the office with an i-phone.
