some years ago i tried to convince Lucy we should buy this deceptively small sea fortress (when it was for sale) and make it our home

you can walk 1/4 mile to it at low tide, along a narrow causeway

that was 16 years ago

and its just sat there since and now the current owners want 6x what they paid for it

so it'll stay sitting there slowly rotting
