returned home to find our newly requisitioned christmas tree was ready for christmas

must be that time of year

happy to see it up but thinking a lot about the millions of people in ukraine spending christmas at war not able to enjoy office parties or a peaceful happy christmas with the family, and my heart breaks for them

its hard not to feel guilty or over-priviledged
